Alaina Suddeth was born Rossville, Georgia, on the 8th of November, 1994. She was married to Kristy Suddeth and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina's father, who is a process engineer based in Tennessee started singing when she was three. After a year-long vacation and a year-long break from school, she joined the children's choir. The singer sang in any 30-mile radius, including at churches, restaurants and family events. Alaina, at the age 8 was the winner of at the age of 8 Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. In the following year, she was on the Kids Talent Stage during the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. She performed there until she turned 12 old. She then won a competition which allowed her to be a part in the mainstage at the Riverbend festival. In the year she turned 10 years old, she went to Orlando to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was won by her who beat 1,500 other kids. Alaina was part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. Alaina first went to Nashville in her teens. She was a regular at the local bars in Broadway like Tootsie's. The year 2009 was the year Alaina won the inaugural WinniSTAR Youth Talent Contest at Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to performing, Alaina wrote several songs including Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina got her inspiration to perform from Holly Witherow. Holly was sufering from a brain tumour. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza before she joined Idol.
